OUR BELIEFS
Connersville Christian is a non-denominational church.
We believe...
Christ
Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-8).
Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God; it is completely true; and it has authority over how we live (2 Timothy 3:16).
Humanity
Every person has worth as a creation of God, but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:16).

Salvation
Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized by immersion into Him (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38).
Mission
Lost people matter to God, and therefore our main mission is to seek and save the lost, connecting them in a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ and helping them grow more Christ like (Luke 19:9-10; Matthew 28:19-20).
Church
The church is the Body of Christ on earth, is empowered by the Holy Spirit, and exists to reach out to lost people and to build up those who are in Christ (Ephesians 4:1-16).
Participation
Every Christian who is part of the Body of Christ should use their spiritual gifts to serve the church and the community and regularly participate in corporate worship (1 Corinthians 12; Hebrews 10:25).
Growth
Every Christian should earnestly seek to grow spiritually mature and should seek to evangelize, love, and serve one another (Hebrews 4:11-14; 1 Peter 4:10; Matthew 4:18-20).
